Nikki Johnson

Nikki Johnson is Reed Mawhinney & Link’s administrative assistant. She is also the first smiling face you’ll see when you come in to our office. She is well versed in administrative support and customer service.

A Lakeland native, Nikki is a graduate of Kathleen High School and Polk State College. Nikki has her certification in Early Childhood Development. She worked at All Saints’ Child Development Center for 10 years as a teacher, then as the Assistant Director for 2 years. Nikki also ran a Summer Camp program for 8 of those years. Teaching children and communicating with their parents on their progress helped her later when she had her child. Nikki was blessed with the birth of her son, Cameron Michael, in 2001. He was unexpectedly born with severe disabilities, so Nikki spent the next 14 years caring for and loving her son with all his many needs. This gave her the opportunity to learn about different nursing skills to help her son live and become the best he could be with the challenges that faced them both. Nikki was able to teach others a great deal about care, love, and compassion. She learned how to take on multiple simultaneous tasks with excellent time management abilities and a resourceful approach to communicate and keep everything organized, for doctors, nurses, therapists and the many others involved. Since 2016, Nikki has used these skills together with a natural ability to make everyone’s day better, to support the needs of our attorneys and clients, alike.

All Saints’ Episcopal Church is Nikki’s spiritual home and has been her entire life. In fact, her grandfather was the priest there for more than 25 years. She comes from a very large family. In her free time, you will find Nikki with her niece and nephew, supporting them in their many school and sporting events, or just hanging out watching movies and letting them entertain her. She also enjoys gardening, swimming, crafting, and spoiling her two dogs and cat.
